The Center for the Study of Bioethics (Center for the Study of Bioethics CSB – Home) organizes, in partnership with The Hastings Center for Bioethics (The Hastings Center – Health, Science, and Technology Ethics), The Chinese University of Hong Kong Centre for Bioethics (CUHK Centre for Bioethics) and The Master of Bioethics Program of Columbia University (Academics | Master’s Degrees Bioethics | Columbia University School of Professional Studies), the conference “Existential Threats and Other Disasters: Novel (Bio)ethical Solutions for Novel Challenges”.
The event is going to be held in Paris on 11 and 12 June 2026. The conference venue will be Reid Hall at Montparnasse (conference website: Existential Threats and Other Disasters –International Conference).

Those who submit their abstract by 5 November 2025 will have the opportunity for early registration BEFORE 12 November 2025 at the cost of 650 Euros (350 Euros for graduate students). The registration fees will periodically increase until the beginning of the conference (REGISTRATION – csb.eu.com/conference).
