Silvia Salardi

Silvia Salardi holds graduate degrees in Law from the University ‘degli Studi dell’Insubria’ of Como and a PHD in Philosophy of Law from the University of Milan. She also holds a graduate degree from the Translation School Zurich. She spent a three years post-doc period at the Professorship of Environmental Policy and Economics at the ETH in Zurich, Switzerland. She is Assistant Professor at the University of Milano-Bicocca where she teaches Bioethics. Her main research interests concern conceptual analysis of legal concepts and philosophical concepts (equality, freedom, responsibility, human nature, race and so on) as well as bioethical issues ranging from environmental issues, genetics, enhancement, assisted procreation, research on humans, to the end-of life questions.
