Sergei Shevchenko has a PhD in philosophy of medicine and an MSc in biology. His research centers on the ethics of genetics; ethical and social issues of human enhancement; and epistemic injustice in healthcare. He is a researcher at the Department of Philosophy I, Ruhr University Bochum (Germany).
Sergei was formerly employed at the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the National Research University Higher School of Economics, and the Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University.
